Daniel Hargrove is a competitive drag racer who has decided to compete in the Ultimate Callout Challenge again in 2024. He was pushed to enter last year’s event via peer pressure from his friend, Logan Epling. Despite not having reached the highest level of racing, Hargrove enjoys the camaraderie and competition of the sport and impressed himself and others on his maiden voyage 2023 year.
Hargrove has been racing with the Outlaw Diesel Super Series for the past four/five years and has made a name for himself by making 2004–horsepower at the Beans Diesel event. His goal at UCC is to make a high 5-second pass on the track and hit 2,000 horsepower on the dyno. To achieve this, Hargrove has been working hard to ensure that his truck is perfectly tuned and ready to perform to the best of its abilities.
Hargrove credits his success to the talented individuals who have helped him along the way. Keaton Samples has provided exceptional fabrication work, while Logan Epling has provided invaluable tuning and advice. The engine build was completed by Linco Diesel.
Despite racing with a stock 5.9, Hargrove has achieved impressive results, clocking in at 6.83 seconds at 102 mph. With his dedication and support system, it's clear that Hargrove will at least make some noise at this event.
